THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

If you are looking for a Bible Study during the week, why not join the group of women led by Mary Severson on the second Thursday of every month at 10 AM?  This group meets in Fellowship Hall from September through June and will be studying lessons on basic Christian concepts such as: Who is Jesus?  Where do we find what God has to say about Himself?  What has He chosen to reveal to us in Jesus Christ?  Grab a cup of coffee and a chair and join us!

QUILTING

The quilters meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in Fellowship Hall from 10 AM to 3 PM to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.  Knowledge of sewing is not required because there are other things to assist with such as cutting squares, knotting quilts and ironing.  The group breaks for lunch at Noon, so bring a bag lunch.  You'll love the fellowship and knowing that you are providing warmth and shelter for those who are less fortunate.  Contact the Church Office at 412-881-5512 for more information. 

Please note: The group is off in December and will resume their regular quilting schedule on Thursday, January 5, 2012. 

WOMEN'S CIRCLES/BIBLE STUDY

The women of Zion invite you to join them in Fellowship Hall on the 2nd Thursday of the month September through June for Bible Study and fellowship.  The Morning Circle meets at 10 AM in Fellowship Hall and the Evening Circle meets at 7:15 PM in Fellowship Hall. 

BELL TEAM

The Angelus Ringers Bell Team is a four-octave hand bell choir.  Rehearsals will be weekly on Wednesdays from 9 to 10:30 AM.   There are openings for two bell ringers.  If you are interested in being a part of the group, please contact Keith Kirchartz.

TUESDAY MEN'S BREAKFAST WITH THE PASTOR

The Curmudgeons meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month, September through May, at 8:15 AM at the Southland Panera Bread.  Come join the guys for interesting conversation, discussion and fellowship!

MEN'S EARLY FRIDAY BIBLE STUDY

John Thatcher leads this Bible Study in the Church Library on Friday mornings at 6:15 AM through July studying the book of Isaiah. 

SATURDAY MEN'S BREAKFAST/BIBLE STUDY

This Bible Study meets the last Saturday of every month at 8:15 AM at the Southland Panera Bread.  Contact Charlie Wingert at 412-884-5652 for more information.

CHRISTCARE PANIC/ANXIETY/DEPRESSION /BI-POLAR/CHRONIC PAIN SUPPORT GROUP

This group meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7 PM in the Church Library and is open to church members and community friends.  If medication, self-help books and classes, or psychololgical counseling has not provided a lasting cure, you might be interested in what does!  Contact Bonnie Gierlack at 412-653-6132 or Casey Hirsch at 724-348-4082 for more information. The group is open to members and community friends.
